Terms of Service
The agreement between ANS Network and an operator using the platform to sell internet access.
Last updated 3 October 2026
Who this is for. These terms are between ANS Network and the operator who runs a WiFi or ISP business on the platform. If you bought WiFi at a hotspot, your agreement is with that operator, not with us - see the Privacy Policy for how your details are handled.
1. What the service is
ANS Network provides billing, customer management and access control for internet service providers and WiFi operators: vouchers, wallets, mobile money collection, usage metering, and the RADIUS and tunnel infrastructure that lets your routers authorise customers.
We do not provide the internet connection itself, the routers, or the sites. Your service to your customers remains yours to deliver.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for what happens under your login and for the people you give access to.
- The details you give us must be accurate, and a business you trade as must be one you are entitled to use.
- Keep two-factor authentication on. It is the difference between a stolen password and a stolen business.
3. What you pay
Plan prices are shown on our pricing section and are charged monthly in advance from your platform wallet. Metered charges - messages sent, and our percentage on payments we collect for you - are taken as they are used.
| Charge | How it works |
|---|---|
| Plan fee | Monthly, from your platform wallet, on the first of the month. |
| Payment fee | Charged only on payments collected through our payment account. It is our fee, taken on top of the payment provider's own charge, which comes out of your share of the payment. |
| Messages | Charged per message actually sent. A message that fails is not charged. |
If your wallet is empty when a charge is due, we will notify you rather than cut you off. Persistent non-payment may lead to suspension, and we will contact you before that happens.
Where we have agreed a fixed price with you for a period, we will honour it for that period even if published prices change.
4. Money we collect for you
Where your customers pay through our payment account, the payment is split at the moment it is made: your share settles to the payout account you have registered, and our fee is retained. We do not hold your takings.
You must register a payout account before you can collect through us. Without one we cannot take payments on your behalf, and the platform will not let you try.
5. What you must not do
- Use the platform to sell access you are not licensed or permitted to sell.
- Send messages to people who have not asked to hear from you, or send anything misleading.
- Misrepresent what a customer is buying - the data, the time or the speed.
- Attempt to reach another operator's data, or to interfere with the platform's operation.
- Use the service for anything unlawful where you operate or where your customers are.
6. Your customers' data
Your customers' details belong to your relationship with them. We hold and process that data on your behalf to run the service, and we do not use it for our own purposes. You are responsible for dealing with your customers lawfully under the data-protection law that applies where they are - in Ghana, the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
7. Availability
We work to keep the platform running continuously and we publish what we measure. We do not promise it will never be unavailable. Where an outage affects your customers, the platform can calculate and apply compensation on your instruction.
Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance where we reasonably can.
8. Ending the agreement
- You may stop using the service at any time. Charges already incurred remain payable; we do not refund part of a month.
- We may suspend an account that breaches section 5, or that puts the platform or other operators at risk, and we will tell you why.
- If you leave, you can export your data. We keep records we are required to keep for dispute purposes.
9. Liability
We are responsible for providing the platform with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for lost profits, lost customers, or losses caused by your internet provider, your hardware, or events outside our control. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Where we are liable, our liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.
10. Changes and governing law
We may change these terms; material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, where ANS Network is established, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction. Nothing here removes a protection that the law where you operate gives you and does not allow to be waived.
